No not unless you want to. The paint mixture we use has a clear already in it. Any body shop should be able to apply a clear coat if one is desired.
No there is already a clear in the paint. After approximately one year with a lot of sun the paint will melt into the original paint.
Any layout lines may be removed after 8 hours with a soft damp cloth. Wait at least 7 days before washing in warm weather (longer in cool) using a mild soap and a soft cloth. Wait at least 4-6 weeks before polishing, we recommend cycle care (www.cyclecare.com) or a hand glaze. (not wax) NO POWER WASHING (it will harm or streak the paint)
**Leave in the sun as much as possible for the first 6 weeks. **
(if not put in the sun it will not cure properly)
We hope that you will not get caught in a rain storm but if you do the paint will be alright. Just try to take it slow because the rain coming down and driving at a high rate of speed is like power washing the bike. After a few warm days of sunshine on the bike even a heavy rain storm and driving fast should be alright. We don't recommend it thought, for your safety not the paints.
